Cat Show Coming to Palm Springs on June 8

cfa_southwest_regionThe next Southern California cat show will be at the Palm Springs Convention Center on Saturday, June 8.

Up to 200+ pedigreed cats and kittens to see, as well as everyday pet cats! Sit and watch cats on the judging table, or walk around and visit with the cats between judgings. There will be six judging rings going on concurrently. No matter what time you arrive you’re bound to see your favorite breed being judged. Breeds include: Abyssinian, Somali, Burmese, Siamese, Cornish Rex, Persian, Ocicat, Maine Coon, Himalayan and up to 20+ more.

Learn about adopting a cat and talk to breeders about pedigreed cats. Visit the fantastic vendors offering everything from cat trees to fine art to the best cat toys!

Malibu Cat Club celebrates 50 years of being a CFA cat club at its annual show “Another Garden Party“.   It is on Saturday, February 23, 2013 in Glendale, California at the Glendale Civic Auditorium.

Up to 225+ pedigreed cats and kittens to see, as well as everyday pet cats! Sit and watch cats on the judging table, or walk around and visit with the cats between judgings.

Palm Springs Cat Shows, October 6 & 7

Golden West Cat Club & Victor Valley Cat Clubs present FALLing for Felines, two days of Cat Fanciers’ Association All Breed & Household Pet Cat shows.  Watch the cats being judged and root for your favorites.  No matter what time you come you’re bound to see your favorite breeds or household pets as there will be six judging areas going on concurrently.  Come visit with the cats and their people in between judgings or shop at the vendors selling specialty cat products.

The shows are taking place at the Palm Springs Leisure Center, 401 South Pavilion Way, Palm Springs, CA 92262.  The spectators’ hours are 9am-4pm both days.  Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, military and kids 11-18.  Kids 10 and under are free.

Opposites Attract Cat ClubThe Opposites Attract Cat Club is holding their first annual CFA Allbreed Show on Saturday, September, 15!  More information and a coupon good for discount admission here.

Opposites Attract is made up of Persian and Sphynx fanciers.  Plan on seeing many fine examples of these breeds as well as Siamese, Cornish Rex, American Shorthair, Tonkinese, Ocicat and many more.  Also, be sure to see the fun, but competitive Household Pet class, where everyday domestic cats compete for spots in the finals.

The show will also be host to several vendors selling everything from premium cat food, cat trees and furniture, cat toys to cat-related gifts for people.
